Facilities and Resources Guide
The campus biological laboratories are housed in seven buildings on campus:
- Kerckhoff Laboratories of the Biological Sciences
- Alles Laboratory for Molecular Biology
- Norman W. Church Laboratory for Chemical Biology
- Mabel and Arnold Beckman Laboratories of Behavioral Biology
- Braun Laboratories
- Beckman Institute
- Broad Center for the Biological Sciences
Special facilities include rooms for the culturing of mutant types of Drosophila, a monoclonal antibody production facility, a fluorescence-activated cell sorter, scanning and transmission electron microscopes, a confocal microscope facility, a magnetic resonance imaging center, a transgenic mouse facility, a state-of-the-art microchemical facility for sequencing and synthesizing biologically important macromolecules, and a protein expression and purification center.
